Sharp was born and raised at home in Rochester (New York) and embraced the world of music. At the Hochstein School of Music, she was a student of clarinet, cello and piano. Following a successful application to The Boston Conservatory because of her love for theater in schools Sharp applied to The Boston Conservatory. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp's initial focus was on the stage. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and made her debut Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the comedy that was interactive, Eat the Runt, she played eight characters. Other theatre performances include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with the playwright August Wilson himself. Apart from her roles in stage and screen, Sharp has several other unique projects she's co-written or written. An entire recording is on the way. She also is still singing. Sharp enjoys exercise. She is active by training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long trips on the road. Sharp lives with her family, including her husband living in Los Angeles.
