Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1960) is a famous American writer and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct law professor at New York Law School and was previously Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. She's also provided legal comments for Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor, and National Public Radio. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. The Imus morning show, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She completed her studies at Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree from 1983. In 1985, she was awarded the Master of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she received a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a US attorney. She was the legal correspondent on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 until 2001, she served as a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
