The 21st of March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman was set to be the companion of the Doctor alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat said that he chose Coleman for the role of companion because she could be the best companion for Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the field since 1987, and has appeared in numerous films and TV projects. Her work has been much more prominent on TV than in films. Eva has played a variety of roles on television, but two stand out in particular: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vistas which was in CSI Miami. In the latter, she even received two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and allowed her to explore her creativity in music. Eva is an entrepreneur in addition to an actor. Three times married, she has a daughter who is with her second husband.
