She has the second highest overall score of all skiers both female and male. She's among the top skiers in the world as well as the most loved American skier. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. Four times she has been awarded the title of winner in the World Cup overall competition. She's one of the most famous athletes within American Histories. Six women have been the only ones to win all five World Cup alpine ski events. She was the winner of the World Cup 82 times. After the World Championships in Sweden, one of the best and most experienced American ski racers will be retiring. Numerous health issues caused the four-time World Cup Overall Champion to make the decision to retire. The four-time World Cup overall champion made her announcement on social networking.
